## Abstract This study investigated the joint properties of a cast FeโPt magnetic alloy (Feโ36 at % Pt) laser welded to three gold alloys. The gold alloys used were ADA Type II and Type IV gold alloys, and an Agโbased (AgโAu) gold alloy. Cast plates (0.5 ร 3.0 ร 10 mm) were prepared for each alloy.
## Abstract Retrogression and reageing heat treatments offer the potential of improved tensile properties in combination with greatly increased resistance to stress corrosion cracking. The potential of this technique is reviewed with respect to the current application in the European and North Amer
