In the present study we characterize allelic variation of polymorphic __OLA‐DQA1__ and __OLA‐DQA2__ genes in sheep. To achieve this, PCR primers were designed to independently amplify the second exons of __OLA‐DQA1__ and __OLA‐DQA2__ genes. Single strand conformation polymorphism (SSCP) gel analyses
