✦ Synopsis
Abstract
An all‐optical reconfigurable high resolution microwave photonic signal processor is presented. It is based on a 2 × 1 electro‐optic modulator and an active‐fiber Bragg‐grating‐pair filter. Experimental results demonstrate a sharp bandpass filter response and a narrow stopband notch filter response which can be obtained by controlling the optical sources. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. ## Abstract This paper presents an all‐optical technique for providing a wide‐tuning‐range K‐band microwave‐photonic (MWP) voltage‐controlled oscillator (VCO). The frequency‐tuning range and gain of the VCO are 16 GHz and 25 MHz/mV, respectively. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Microwave Opt Technol
## Abstract A novel all‐optical technique for microwave generation using photonic crystal fiber Brillouin laser is presented, and a 9.78‐GHz microwave signal generator based on the Brillouin laser is experimentally realized. The Brillouin laser is based on a fiber Fabry‐Perot cavity with fiber Brag
