## Abstract We have successfully generated the mutisoliton pulses using a Gaussian pulse in a fiber optic ring resonator incorporating an erbium‐doped fiber (EDF) and a semiconductor optical amplifiers (SOAs). The multisoliton memory time within the system is also measured. Initially, the Gaussian
