## Hydroprocessing of de-ashed coal liquid bottoms (DAO) derived from Victorian brown coal liquefaction was carried out in a fixed-bed reactor loaded with molybdenum catalyst. The conventional hydroprocessing catalyst is deactivated by the preasphaltene contained in the coal liquid bottoms. This d
