Beside the known veratrosine (1), two new steroid alkaloid glucosides, 23‐O‐β‐D‐glucopyranosyl‐20‐isoveratramine (2) and (22__S__,23__R__,25__S__)‐23‐O‐β‐D‐glucopyranosyl‐5,11,13‐veratratrienine‐3β,23‐diol (3), were isolated from the roots of Veratrum patulum Loes. fil. (Liliaceae) and characterized by spectroscopic methods.
