✦ Synopsis

Some general properties of the linear Boltzmann kinetic equation are used to present it in the form ~t~p = _~t~p with the operators A and ~t possessing some nontrivial algebraic properties. When applied to the Keilson-Storer kinetic model, this method gives an example of quantum (q-deformed) Lie algebra. This approach provides also a natural generalization of the "kangaroo model".
