We describe the synthesis and structural characterization of two new double perovskites, ALaFeVO 6 (A ‫؍‬ Ca, Sr), where Fe 3Ψ‰ /V 4Ψ‰ are partially ordered at the octahedral sites. The small charge di4erence between Fe 3Ψ‰ /V 4Ψ‰ precludes the formation of a long-range ordered double-perovskite structu
