AkzoNobel develops green nonstick coating for cookware
AkzoNobel has introduced a polytetrafluorethylene (PTFE)free coating called NP2. The polymer-based material is an eco-friendly, non-stick, siliconhybrid coating for cookware. NP2 is said to offer durability unlike ordinary PTFE-free coatings. It is being employed in the Eco-Friendly Cookware brand of pots and pans of cookware maker Tramontina.
