Nalco's Colloidal Technologies Group will impose a 5-10% price hike for a number of colloidal silica and related products that belong to its customer solution packages, starting Feb 2006. Beginning 1 Jan 2006, prices of Degussa's catalyst products rose by an average of 9%. Products affected by this price adjustment were fixedbed and polymerization catalysts and precious metal and activated metal catalysts.
