AKD-2023, 3-dodecyl-1,4-dihydro-1,4
-dioxo-2-naphthyl acetate (proposed common name acequinocyl) is a novel miticide now under commercial development. It has outstanding miticidal activity against economically important spider mites with the new mode of action of inhibition of mitochondrial electron transfer at complex III.
