Retires After 30 Years as Editor of The Anatomical Record T he American Association of Anatomists (AAA) owns two scientific journals that are published by John Wiley and Sons of New York. One of these, The Anatomical Record, was founded in 1906 as the ''official organ of the Association of American Anatomists.'' This Association, established in 1888 in Washington, DC, changed its name to the current version in 1908. From its inception, The Anatomical Record published scientific papers of the highest quality, and this journal also became the avenue through which the Proceedings of the AAA, and its membership lists, were published.
