β¦ Synopsis
Computer networks of high speed, large scale, and high performance are needed for providing multimedia communication services in wide area networks. This paper proposes agent communication transport networks in order to provide not only new agent communication services but also to support existing IP protocols.
First, we analyze the characteristics of multimedia communication services and propose an agent communication network which can support these services. Next, the architecture of the agent packet and the control method of the network, which constitute the main bases of agent communication transport networks which manage the control of agent communication networks, are proposed. Finally, an agent communication protocol using agent request brokers is proposed.
