DNA sequences of 103 spontaneous mutants and 102 X-ray-induced mutants of the lacZ transgene from spleen, liver, and brain of the Muta™Mouse were examined and compared to elucidate characteristics of radiation-induced mutations in vivo. The radiation-induced mutants were isolated from genomic DNA of
