✦ Synopsis
his award is quite an honor for me. But more than honor, I have a deep sense of satisfaction for helping to dispel the myths and perceived risks about contact lenses (CLs). Now contact lenses are permitted to be worn in most workplaces where they allow wearers greater acuity, can be worn easily in a respirator, make microscope viewing simpler, and, in many cases, make the workplace safer.
