Abstract

The structure of SP(C~2~H~5~)~3~ has been refined by adding 0__kl__, __hk__1, and __hk__2 data to the __hk__0 zone previously studied. By random distribution, enantiomorphous molecules acquire a statistical symmetry not inherent in the individual molecule.

The space group appears to be P6~a~mc with Z = 2. Cell dimensions are
a = 8.98, c = 6.32 Å.

Bond lengths (PS = 1.86; PC = 1.87 Å) are compared with bonds reported for similar compounds.
