β¦ Synopsis
The oxidation of alkyl and aryl phosphines, tryphenylphosphite and triphenylarsine was achieved using oxygen or air as Ε½ . the oxidant in the presence of excess 3-methylbutanal and catalytic amount Co acac . Tests carried out with a 2 Ε½ . heterogeneous analogue of Co acac revealed that the supported cobalt polymer acts as an active and reusable catalyst in 2 the oxidation of triphenylphosphine.
