Abstract

An interaction between lithium and neuroleptics may occur, at least when the latter are given in high dosage: however, the four cases described by Cohen and Cohen, although the first reported, can hardly be considered representative. Permanent brain damage is not a distinctive feature of a lithium‐neuroleptic interaction.
