β¦ Synopsis
This book comprises the proceedings of the first international meeting on advanced software in robotics and reflects the state of the art in some of the areas which enable the engineer to make full use of available robot hardware. They show that software can contribute higher dynamic performance, better environment perception and improved task adaptation to robotic performance. The selected papers cover the topics of kinematic and dynamic modelling, adaptive control, computer languages, geometric modelling, systems architecture, computing aspects of sensing devices and artificial intelligence.
