โฆ Synopsis
hybrid integrated circuit mask design, the design ality largely depends on the designer's experience and ..ativity. It is difficult to completely automate the ~ign process as is done with LSIs or printed circuit ards. It is important to incorporate flexibility into the .tern. This paper describes an interactive design 9 tern for laying out hybrid ICs. The system is imple-:nted on a large host computer, and graphic display minals are connected to it in a time sharing vironment. The system provides designers with many eractive facilities which are useful in designing hybrid s. In addition to highly interactive dialogue, the .tem has capabilities such as dynamic checking of the signer's operations against a set of design rules, or tomatic generation of standardised element patterns. e system outputs mask information, design docu-'.nts and so on which are used in the CAM of hybrid s. The system is being used at Fujitsu and is "ltributing to high reliability of the design, and ~rtening the design period.
