Which weather would you expect when you plan to visit the province of Valencia in April: sunshine all day and comfortable temperatures, of course. The condition the conferees faced at their arrival in Valencia was completely different: a cloudy sky with a good chance of showers! In contrast to this little disappointing welcome weather, this years' Focus on Microscopy conference was again a big event. At the Facultat de Farmacia of the Valencia University, over 450 participants and more than 30 companies presented the latest insights in science, application and instrumentation.
