Abstract

The term “juvenile rheumatoid arthritis” (JRA) is used to designate a chronic polyarthritic process of onset in childhood. Discussion of the possibility of an adult form of JRA is revived. Fifteen patients who are believed to have JRA are described briefly; they are notable for the fact that their disease began after age 16.
