β¦ Synopsis
This work is concerned with the investigation of an adsorption heat pump using hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerants. A small-scale rig was used to study the performance of several combinations of refrigerant and activated carbon which might be used in an adsorption heat pump. Experimental results are presented here together with conclusions and suggestions for further work.
