Working with Malaysian agricultural soils, high Freundlich adsorption distribution coefficients were observed for paraquat (28Γ7 and 1419) and (K ads(f) ) glyphosate (83Γ8 and 417) and lower values for 2,4-D (0Γ57 and 5Γ26) and lindane (2Γ65 and 14Γ1) in a sandy loam and a muck soil, respectively. The dependence of the behaviour of metsulfuron-methyl on soil pH was conΓrmed during incubations under controlled laboratory conditions with two French soils used for wheat cropping. The fate of [14C] residues from [triazine-14C]metsulfuron-methyl was studied by combining di β erent experimental cond
