The effect of grit blasting parameters on the surface roughness of Ti-6Al-4V alloy as the substrate for plasma-sprayed hydroxyapatite (HA) coatings was examined using the factorial and Taguchi designs of experiments. In this study, two grit materials (Al 2 O 3 and SiO 2 ) each at two sizes, and two
