✦ Synopsis

A theory of nonlinear inverse chromatography for arbitrary adsorption isotherms has been developed. Methods of investigating adsorption isotherms and heat of adsorption based on the analysis

of chromatograms for different temperatures are suggested. Simple formulae for calculating of adsorption isotherms and heat of adsorption are derived. The adsorption isotherm and heat of ad-equation for adsorption isotherm, sorption of pyridine on particular poly(imide)siloxane have been investigated by inverse chromatography. α§ 1998 Academic Press G Γ… f ( c); [1c]

## Abstract PMBF~2~, a pyrromethene pigment, can be used in gas chromatography. Because of its fluorescence, adsorption sites on glass columns and connections can be traced in situ. The compound can be employed to check the inertness of glass surfaces after deactivation procedures. Some application
