## Abstract Monoallelic expression of the imprinted __H19__ and insulin‐like growth factor‐2 (__Igf2__) genes depends on the hypomethylation of the maternal allele and hypermethylation of the paternal allele of the __H19__ upstream region. Previous studies from our laboratory on liver carcinogenesi
