✦ Synopsis

The ADONIS document delivery system was assessed for its potential application within the University of Wales College of Medicine Library. Potential benefits and disadvantages were identified. The Library's inter‐library loan statistics were analyzed to assess the popularity of titles covered by ADONIS, and then used to assess the possible financial savings to be made by the introduction of ADONIS. These results were then considered and lessons, which may be more widely applicable, were discussed.
