✦ Synopsis


For a two-site electronic system strongly interacting with a phonon mode, we investigate a model for the temperature evolution of the self-trapped state internal structure. It is found that, at the temperatures corresponding to the dissociation of the localized state, transformation ofthe system may occur resembling a phase transition but this thermodynamic behaviour is not pronounced.
