New appointments made in the Freudenberg group

On 1 July Jörg Sost joined the management board of Freudenberg & Co as a general partner. The 60-year-old trained economist left the post he had held since 1991 as chairman of the management board at Freudenberg Dichtungs-und Schwingungstechnik. He is credited by the company with overseeing the transformation of the sealing business from a regional provider to a multinational technology specialist supplying products to carmakers and Tier 1 system providers around the world.

In the US, Freudenberg-NOK has appointed Craig T. Barnhart as general manager of its gasket division, and Douglas J. Nye as chief financial officer of its manufactured products group.
