## Abstract Most colon cancers arise within preexisting adenomatous polyps or adenomas. The slow evolution from the nonβinvasive premalignant lesion, the adenomatous polyp, to invasive cancer supports a strategy of early detection. Recently, we identified unique nuclear matrix proteins (NMPs) speci
