✦ Synopsis

For a bibliography of material on general education, we refer the reader to the references at the end of each chapter. They contain most of the works that have informed the general education debate at the community college. In this chapter we will focus on a few additional sources of information. As we mentioned in the introductory chapter, a great degree of agreement as to what is .important can be found among the general education plans at most campuses. For this reason we have concentrated on citing additional references that match up with the most common learning goals among these plans.
