An wugmonted set of constants of motion of the CNDO-like many-electron bmiltoninn of a pbursr molecular system is determined and used in deducing the a priari features of the eigensystcm of this operator. An additional splitting of tho space of the hamiltonian into the orthogonal, non-in%eracting subspaces iu given and some reiaticns between the cipnuystcms in these subspaces are obtained.
