✦ Synopsis

This paper deals with the observer design for the Lur'e differential inclusion system with unknown parameters. The set-valued mapping in the differential inclusion is upper semi-continuous, closed, convex, bounded and monotone. First, under some assumptions an adaptive full-order observer is designed for the system. Then, under the same assumptions, a reduced-order observer is proved to exist. An example is provided to show the validation of the designed observers.

This paper considers observer-based actuator fault detection and reconstruction problems for uncertain nonlinear systems. Based on a kind of full-order observer which is robust to disturbances but sensitive to actuator faults, a single detection observer is constructed to produce a residual which ca

In this paper, a simple adaptive feedback control is proposed for full and reduced-order synchronization of time-varying and strictly uncertain chaotic systems. Our method uses only one feedback gain with parameter adaptation law and converges very fast even in the presence of noise. For full synchr
