โฆ Synopsis
A correlation was found between the incidence of acute haematogenous osteomyelitis (AHO) and ABO blood groups but not between AHO and the secretory function of the saliva AHO is more common among children of blood group O and, to a lesser extent, group A Although it was found to occur more commonly among secretors than non-secretors, the difference from a control group was not statistically significant At present this possibility can only be taken as a tentative suggestion for further research in this field.
