## Endogenous activity at opioid receptors affects the appetitive behavior of Caesarean-delivered rat pups during presentation of a surrogate nipple that provides milk. Blockade of opioid receptors by peripheral injection of naloxone has no effect on responses evoked by the surrogate nipple. Similar
