β¦ Synopsis
Double wall containers using molecular alloy phase change materials are proposed as packages for thermal protection of liquid food products. This work leads to a commercial 'active' package which is effective for more than three hours in an external environment of about 25Β°C. Moreover these 'active' packages are able to cool down a drink.
