5. Conclusions
We have presented an iterative scheme for the combination of MoM with GMT. The method is very attractive for the combination of already existing codes since only a few changes are required. MPI has been used for implementing the communication between the different MoM and GMT processes, resulting in a highly portable application which can also easily be executed in parallel on a network of connected PCs or workstations.
By considering two examples, it has been shown that this method is accurate and well suited, for instance, for the analysis of mobile telephones radiating close to the human head. A significant reduction in CPU time and main memory can be achieved as compared to the conventional MoM formulation.
