## Abstract Extracellular‐signal‐regulated kinase (ERK) undergoes rapid inactivation following the intense activation evoked by cerebral ischemia and reperfusion. However, the precise mechanism of this inactivation has not been elucidated. To investigate how phosphatases regulate the ERK cascade fo
