Abstract

The physiological links between abnormalities in glucose regulation and blood pressure provide novel means to treat patients with the Metabolic Syndrome. In fact, recent data indicate that ATR~1~ antagonists may also improve insulin resistance. We explored one proposed explanation for these effects, namely activation of the PPARγ nuclear hormone receptor.
