✦ Synopsis

The book consists of selected poems of a high artistic refinement written in English by Kosta TadiΔ‡ (1982-2019). The poems are part of the author’s literary legacy (plays, short stories, poems) for which he wrote on his website in a farewell letter: β€œAnd please take a look at my writings and art. In a way, it is my only legacy”.
Being aware that the author would have made a different selection and would have proposed a different form, we decided to present the poems in a chronological order, in the first part, the acrostics, and in the second, other poems. At the end of the book, for each poem the year of its creation is written, and for the already published ones, the title of the corresponding book.

Alex Dimitrov's third book, _Love and Other Poems,_ is full of praise for the world we live in. Taking time as an overarching structure--specifically, the twelve months of the year--Dimitrov elevates the everyday, and speaks directly to the reader as if the poem were a phone call or a text message.
