โฆ Synopsis
Acoustic emission generated in a composite copper muff~filamentary Nb 77 conductor has been measured. Its source appears to be dissipation associated with the Lorentz force induced flux motions. It is demonstrated that acoustic emission transducers can be used to detect a superconducting-to-normal transition.
