An Unusual AlCl 3 Catalyzed Aromatic Cyclization Reaction: Novel Synthesis of Tetrahydronaphthoic Acids. -In connection with an earlier study the results of the title cyclization leading to acids such as (II) is presented. Treatment of substrates (I) with AlCl 3 results in formation of naphthoic ac
