Abstract
A 110βfold acetamipridβresistant Plutella xylostella (L) strain was established after four selection experiments (in five generations) on a 9.5βfold resistant colony in the laboratory. The resistant strain did not show crossβresistance to chlorfluazuron or Bacillus thuringiensis subsp kurstaki Berliner, but displayed low resistance to cartap and phenthoate.
