✦ Synopsis

Abstract

An accurate model of a loaded E‐plane right‐angle bend in the rectangular waveguide is presented. The development is obtained with the use of the domain‐product technique, with the edge effects taken into account. The approach can be also applied to the T junction and the cross junction. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. ## Abstract The domain‐product technique is applied to modeling of H‐ and E‐plane loaded waveguide junctions with a rectangular connecting cavity. A specific use of the edge condition accelerates the convergence of the solution. Very high efficiency of the technique is demonstrated by the example o

The circuit and coupling properties of a dipole grid array placed inside a rectangular cross-section waveguide are analysed when also a rectangular aperture is used to couple the resonator energy into a semi-infinite waveguide. A Green function approach is employed to determine the current distribut
