✦ Synopsis

A CLEAN Western romance about the power of faith and love.

A man who has lost himself.

January 1873, Nebraska. Samuel Ellis has sent away for a mail order bride, and has found a woman who suits himquiet, biddable, and not swept up by any foolish notions of love. From their letters, he has formed an impression of a mousy young woman. But to his shock, the woman who steps off the train has shining red hair and a fiery temperament, and Samuel feels something stir to life in his heart that he thought was long gone. Theres just one problem: she isnt his bride.

A woman who refuses to lose her faith

Cora Browder has seen everything the world can throw at heror so she thinks. Desperate to leave the cities of the east and escape her past, she takes a job as a governess for the child of a rich prospector, only to find when she steps off the train that he and his family have left Nebraska. She may be penniless and without a home, but she has her pride and her principles, and she refuses his indecent offer to stand in for the mail order bride who never arrived.

A love that will not be denied

Samuel has nothing but contempt for Coras faith and principles, and she cannot abide his rough manners. But what begins as a simple offer of shelter turns into something that could redeem them bothif only they have the courage to accept it.
