โฆ Synopsis
Numerical. Assuming 6F ยฐ to vary little with tem, perature two experimental values of n s should on.substitution in equation (4) give ns(N --nL)/n L for all temperatures. Now ns is known for all temperatures from the phase diagram. Therefore, it should be possible to predict n s for all temperatures. Figure compares various calculated curves and the experimental points. The agreement, though reasonable is not entirely satisfactory. It is thought possible that the deviation is due to the neglect of interracial free energy. The possibility also exists that'the copper is present in combination with another impurity.
