✦ Synopsis

The insertion of Li in LixV6013 has been studied by ac impedance measurements on different crystallographic surfaces as function of electrode potential (ie the degree of insertion). The solid state diffusion is found to be one-dimensional proceeding only in the b axis direction. Diffusion coefficients for Li at 25°C ranging from 6 × 10-8 to 6 × I0-9 cm2s-1 are determined.
