β¦ Synopsis
The LiFe 1/2 Mn 1/2 VO 4 compound was prepared by a standard solid-state reaction technique. The dielectric and electrical conductivity behavior of the compound over a wide frequency range (100 Hz-1 MHz) at temperatures (25-475 1C) was studied by complex impedance spectroscopy (CIS) technique. Studies of frequency and temperature dependence of dielectric constant and tangent loss of LiFe 1/2 Mn 1/2 VO 4 exhibit a dispersive behavior at low frequencies. The variation of a.c. conductivity as a function of frequency at some selected temperatures obeys Jonscher's universal power law governed by the relation Β½sΓ°oΓ ΒΌ s d:c: ΓΎ Ao n .
