Twelve macroporous strongly basic anion resins and five amphoteric resins were compared according to removal of organic matter from tap water by batch and column processes. Adsorption and regeneration of the optimized resin C,, were investigated and compared with active carbon C,, and adsorbent Asmit 259N as a scavenger in water deionization.
